In accordance with Executive No. 50-2021 issued on September 30, 2021 by the municipal government of San Agustin, Surigao del Sur, all tourists, visitors and guests to the Bretania Islands tourism zone are required to strictly comply with the following guidelines and protocols:
- They must present a valid identification card and a valid vaccination card (indicating full vaccination status) or in the absence of the latter show a verified certification indicating a negative RT-PCR test result valid for 72 hours from the date of the result. A valid certification indicating a negative antigen test taken within 24 hours of entry to the Bretania tourism area can be accepted in lieu of a negative RT-PCR test result. If needed, the San Agustin municipal health office may provide the antigen test.
- Health declaration forms for contact tracing must be filled up at entry points.
- Tourists and visitors with fever and flu-like symptoms (like colds, cough, body malaise, loss of taste and smell, sore throat and diarrhea) are not allowed to enter any of the tourist spots and destinations within the locality and may be subjected to isolation and quarantine.
- All must strictly follow minimum health standards and protocols at all times.
